A comprehensive 1 hour session on “Comprehensive Surgical & Physiotherapy Intervention in Paediatric Scoliosis” was organized by ‘Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin’ (GAPIO) under GAPIO Physiotherapy Lecture Series at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 18th March, 2023 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr Narasimhan Ramani, Sr Consultant, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi delivered his talk on “Surgical Management in Paediatric Scoliosis” and Dr Satyaki Sengupta, Dy Director, AHS, Sn Prinicipal Physiotherapist, KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Singapore delivered his talk on “Physiotherapy Management in Paediatric Scoliosis“.
Dr Urmila Kamat, Head, Department of Rehabilitation, B.J. Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai gave the opening remarks.
Dr Seema Grover, HOD, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi and Dr Elizabeth Joy, HOD, Physiotherapy, Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru has moderated the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
