A comprehensive 1 hour session on “Paediatric Gastroenterology” was organized by ‘Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin’ (GAPIO) in collaboration with IAP under IAP – GAPIO International Lecture Series at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 25th March, 2023 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr Pratik Patel, Chief Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Charleston Hospital USA has delivered his talk on “Paediatric Crohn’s Disease – Past, Present and Future” and Dr Shivani Deswal, Senior Consultant , Department of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Liver Transplant, Medanta, Gurugram has delivered his talk on “Paediatric Ulcerative Colitis – Past, Present and Future“.
Dr Monira Sarmin, Associate Scientist and Physician, Nutrition and Clinical Services Division, International Centre for Diarrhoeal Diseases Research, Bangladesh has moderated the session.
Dr Karunesh Kumar, Consultant, Pediatric Gastroenterologist, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals as the chairperson of the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
