A comprehensive 1 hour session on “Bariatric Surgery Update” was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with Association of Robotic & Innovative Surgeons (ARIS) at 7:00 PM IST on Friday, 2nd December 2022 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Asim Shabbir Head of Department of Surgery at National University of Singapore (NUS) and National University Hospital Singapore (NUH) delivered his talk on “Current indications for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery ” and Dr. Arun Prasad, Senior Consultant in GI and Bariatric Surgery at Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi delivered his talk on “Current Endoscopic and Surgical options for Morbid Obesity and Diabetes“.
Dr. Richa Chaturvedi, Senior Consultant and Endocrinologist Apollo Hospitals, Delhi was the Chairperson during the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
