A comprehensive 2 hour session on “Evidence Based Clinical Advancements In Vestibular Physiotherapy” was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP) at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 3rd December 2022 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Ajay Kumar Arora, Certified in Vestibular Rehab Therapy, DPT, University of Michigan, USA delivered his talk on “Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo-Relevant Anatomy & Management“, Dr. John Solomon M, Head of the Department Physiotherapy, Manipal University delivered his talk on ” Unilateral Vestibular Hypofunction & it’s Physiotherapy Management” and Dr. Gunjan Vermani, Certified Advanced Concussion Therapist, Ontario Canada delivered her talk on “Central Vertigo & Physiotherapy Management”.
Dr. K M Annamalai, Consultant Physiotherapist, Apollo Hospitals Ahmedabad and General Secretary, IAP gave the opening remarks.
Dr. Kalpana Nagpal, Senior Consultant, ENT, Chief Robotic Surgeon, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi was the keynote speaker.
Dr. Ruchi Varshney, National Head IAP Women Cell, Treasurer IAP New Delhi, Dr. Hannah Rajsekhar, Professor and Principal, Apollo College of Physiotherapy, Hyderabad and Dr. Elizebeth Joy, Head of the Department, Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru has moderated the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
