A comprehensive 2 hour session on “MRI as Imaging Tool for Cardiac Diseases” was organized by ‘Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin’ (GAPIO) at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 14th January, 2023 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr Manphool Singhal, Professor, Radiodiognosis & Imaging, PGIMER, Chandigarh gave his talk on ” Cardiac MRI – Principles and Protocols “, Ms Ajimimol Anzar, Senior MRI Technologist Aster MIMS Hospital, Calicut, Kerala gave her talk on “Challenges and Solutions in Cardiac Imaging” and Dr Nidhi Goyal, Senior Consultant, Radiology Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi gave her talk on “MRI: A Diagnostic Aid in Cardiac Diseases “.
Dr Vinita Sharan, Advisor Radiology CMEs for GAPIO and Associate Professor, San Beda College of Medicine, Philippines and Public Health Consultant has moderated the session.
Dr. Anupam Sibal, Group Medical Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, Senior Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist and President of GAPIO has set the context of the meeting.
Prof. S. Panneer Selvam, Chairman, Advisory Council, GARTIO gave the opening remarks.
