3rd Free Health Screening Camps in Sawaimadhopur, Rajasthan.
GAPIO in collaboration with Global Health and Education (GHE), USA has organised, 5 Free Health Screening Camps at Sawaimadhopur, Rajasthan in November 2017. These camps were 3rd in the series of camps held in these areas in the year 2015 and 2016 with the aim to follow-up those detected to be high risk patients for blood pressure and diabetes.
450 People were screened for Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiac Arryhthmias among high risk patients for Stroke prevention, Anemia (which is highly prevalent among young women), Counseling for Smoking cessation and Weight loss and Free Medicines distributed.
Free Vision Screening for 600 High School Girls and provided 75 Free Pair of Eye Glasses to needy students who had poor vision.
