Global Health and Education (GHE) in collaboration with Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) organized Free Health Screening Camps in rural areas in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
Five Free Helth Screening Camps were organized in Raj Pipla, Gujarat; and in Sawaimadhopur/ Ranthambhore; Tonk; Jaipur and Chomu, Rajasthan, India from 3rd January 2020 to 16th January 2020. About 600 people were screened for Hypertension, Diabetes, Anemia and Obesity and free medicines were distributed. Counseling for health fitness, disease education and prevention and chronic disease self-management was provided. Vision screening among 600 economically disadvantaged Girls High School students was arranged and 110 students were provided free pair of prescription eye glasses.
