A comprehensive 1 hour session of radiology was organized byGlobal Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) under GAPIO Radiology International Lecture Series on “Imaging and Pitfalls in Cardiothoracic Trauma” on Friday, 11th October 2024 at 7:00 PM IST on a digital platform (zoom).
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Atin Kumar, Professor of Radiology, AIIMS, New Delhi has delivered his talk on “Imaging Findings and Pitfalls in Lung Trauma” and Dr. Asutosh Sahu, Cardiothoracic Imaging and Emergency Radiology Toronto, Canada has delivered his talk on “Imaging Findings and Pitfalls in Cardiac and Vascular Trauma”.
Dr. Nandakumar Jairam, President – GAPIO, Former Chairman of Medica Synergie Group of Hospitals Advisor Shyamrad , President R.B.A.N.M’s and Health Care Consultant gave the opening remarks.
Special remarks given by the chairperson of the session, Prof. Subodh Kumar, Executive Director – NBEMS, Professor of Surgery, Division of Trauma Surgery & Critical Care, JPN Apex Trauma Center, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Dr. Vinita Sharan, Senior Radiology Consultant, DeepTek Medical Services, Pvt. Ltd., Adjunct Faculty, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), Advisor Radiology CMEs, GAPIO, Former Associate Professor, San Beda College of Medicine, Philippines and Public Health Consultant has moderated the session.
