Free Health Screening Camps by Dr. Loknath Shandilya
GAPIO in collaboration with Global Health and Education (GHE), has been organizing Free Health Screening Camps in rural Sawaimadhopur/Ranthambhore, Rajasthan, India since it’s inception in 2015. This year again, we have orgainzed Six Free Health Screening Camps in rural Sawaimadhopur/ Ranthambhore, Rajasthan, India from 27th January 2019 to 31st January 2019. About 700 people were screened for Hypertension, Diabetes, Anaemia and Obesity and free medicines were distributed. Counselling for health fitness, disease education and prevention and chronic disease self-management was provided. Vision screening among economically disadvantaged High School girl students was arranged and 131 students were provided free pair of prescription eye glasses.
