A comprehensive 2 hours session on “Transforming Care at the Bedside” was organized by ‘Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin’ (GAPIO) in collaboration with Global Nursing Community at 3:30 PM IST on Saturday, 6 August 13, 2022 on a digital platform through zoom.
Renowned speakers, Dr. Shani. S.D, Senior Nursing officer Incharge of Neuro Intensive Care unit Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology Kerala, India has covered the topic “Excellence in Care – Neuroscience Nursing”, Dr. Manju Dhandapani, Secretary, Society of Neuroscience Nurses, Lecturer (National Institute of Nursing Education, PGIMER) Chandigarh, India, has covered the topic “Promoting evidence based innovative Neuro Nursing Practices : Role as Specialised Nurses”, Dr Manju C. Pallam, Senior Lecturer Manchester Metropolitan University UK; has covered the topic “Emotional Intelligence for Care at the Bedside” and Ms. Felicia Kwaku, RGN, OBE, Associate Director of Nursing at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, UK & Chair of the Chief Nursing Officer & Chief Midwifery Officer’s Black Minority Ethnic Strategic Advisory Group, NHS UK, has covered the topic “An Inspirational Talk”.
Dr. Sneha Vaidya Regional Nursing Head Apollo Hospitals Western Region Guide– JJT University, NABH Assessor, Mumbai and Prof Rita Lakhani Principal Jupiter College of Nursing Thane, Maharashtra has moderated the session.
