A comprehensive 1 hour session on “Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)” was organized by ‘Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin’ (GAPIO) in collaboration with Association of Robotic and Innovative Surgeons (ARIS) under GAPIO-ARIS International Lecture Series at 6:30 PM IST on Saturday, 11th March, 2023 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr Arun Prasad, Clinical Lead, GI & Bariatric Surgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi gave his talk on “Surgical Aspects” of GERD and Dr Yogesh Batra, Sr. Consultant, Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi gave his talk on “Medical Aspects” of GERD.
Dr Awanish Tewari, Consultant, Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata was the Chairperson of the session.

The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
