A comprehensive 1-hour session of Robotics/Bariatric Surgery was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with Association of Robotic & Innovative Surgeons (ARIS) under GAPIO – ARIS International Lecture Series at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 16 May 2026 on “Docplexus” platform.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Arun Prasad, Clinical Lead, GI & Bariatric Surgeon, Academic Advisor and Adjunct Professor at Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi, Specialising in Laparoscopy, VATS Thoracoscopy, Endoscopic and Robotic Surgery spoke on the topic “Management of Obesity in Patients with MASH” and Prof. Dr. Raj Vasant Nagarkar, Chief of Surgical Oncology & Robotic Services, Managing Director, HCG Manavata Cancer Centres, KIMS Manavata Hospital, Six Sigma Hospital, Nashik, Vice President West Zone – Association of Robotic & Innovative Surgeons of India spoke on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Cancer Screening and Early Diagnosis“.
Dr. Manish Khasgiwale, General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals, Indore started the session with his opening remarks and chaired the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
