A comprehensive 1 hour session of “Robotic Surgery” was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with Association of Robotic & Innovative Surgeons (ARIS) under GAPIO-ARIS International Lecture Series on Saturday, 7th September 2024 on a digital platform (zoom).
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Subhash Khanna, President – ARIS, Chief of Department of Minimal Access, GI and Robotic Surgery Swagat Super Speciality Surgical Institute, Guwahati presented his talk on the topic “Robotic Surgery for Benign GI Disorders” and Dr. Arun Prasad, Clinical Lead, GI & Bariatric Surgeon, Academic Advisor and Adjunct Professor at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi presented his talk on the topic “Justifying the Cost and Time of Robotic Bariatric Surgery“.
Dr Govind Nandakumar, Chief – Gastrointestinal, HPB & Colorectal Surgery, Manipal Hospitals – Bangalore, Faculty of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York has moderated the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
