A comprehensive 30 minutes virtual session on “Paediatric Hepatology” was organized by GAPIO in collaboration with Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) under GAPIO-IAP International Lecture Series on a virtual platform. at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 31^st May 2025 on zoom.

International speaker from USA, Dr Akihiro Asai, Researcher and Paediatric Transplant Hepatologist, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Centre, Ohio, USA delivered his talk on “Beyond Transplant – Emerging Genetic Therapies for Hereditary Liver Disease“.

Dr Aashay Shah, Consultant, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Ahmedabad was the “Session Convenor” and moderated the session.

The session was followed by a Q&A round of 10 minutes.
