Dr. Avula Laxmaiah, National Secretary, NSI Scientist and Head of Division of Public Health Nutrition at ICMR-National Institute of Nutrition has been conferred with “Dr S G Srikantia Memorial Oration Award 2021” from Nutrition Society of India (NSI) on 10th June 2022 at Hyderabad.
Dr. Ashish Aneja, from Kurukshetra, India has organized Free Cardio- Diabetic Medical Health check-up and Awareness camp on World Hypertension Day on 17th May 2022 in association with GAPIO.
Dr Arun Prasad has been invited by the Royal College of Surgeons of UK as Chairman and Speaker for the Robotic Surgery Webinar Series of Abdominal Wall and Hernia Repairs.
Dr Prasad has also published paper on “Patient Selection in One Anastomosis/Mini Gastric Bypass-an Expert – Modified Delphi Consensus”.
Dr. Arun Prasad has been chosen as Outstanding Editorial Board member to be featured on the cover page of the latest issue of World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery (WJGS) based on his important academic contributions to the field of gastrointestinal surgery as well as his high-quality record of peer-reviewed manuscripts.
Dr. Ashish Malik, Liver Transplant Anaesthesiologist at New Delhi, has been selected as “Vice Chair of Anesthesia and Critical Care Committee” of International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS – World body for Liver Transplant Specialists) for year 2022 – 2023. Dr. Ashish is the First Indian Transplant Anaesthesiologist (practicing in India) in the history of ILTS), would be the chair for year 2023 – 2024.
Dr. Ashish has delivered a talk on “Analgesia for Donor Hepatectomy: The Way forward” during Annual Conference of ILTS in Istanbul on 5th May 2022.
Dr. Ashish has also been selected in the Executive Committee on Education and Scholarship ILTS for next three years.
Dr. Bellamkonda Kishore, Nephrologist, University Professor and VA Investigator – University of Utah and VA Medical Center, has been appointed as a Member to serve on the Physiologists in Industry Committee of the American Physiological Society (APS) for a three-year term. APS is a premier and powerful scientific body that shaped biological and medical education in the United States and established high standards in training MDs and PhDs.

Dr Jasmin D Mulani, In charge Medical Officer, Malaria Filaria Department, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, has successfully implemented the mass drug administration program with triple-drug therapy: IDA 2022 (Ivermectin, Diethyl Carbamazine, and Albendazole mass consumption program) targeted at elimination of filariasis in Nagpur city under the National elimination of lymphatic filariasis (ELF) programme. Achieved a massive coverage of 90.06 % in the five Nagpur city zones of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC).

Dr Koushik Lahiri, Professor and Distinguished Academician (AHERF), Senior Consultant Dermatologist at Apollo Multispecialty Hospitals Limited was nominated as one of the ‘INSPIRING DERMATOLOGISTS OF INDIA’ for 2022 and honoured on Doctor’s Day celebrations during 5th Edition of Economic Times Doctor’s Day Conclave 2022 at Hyatt Regency New Delhi.
Dr. Premkumar Balachandran has published article on “Hands on – with a new robotic system” in Arcuate lines” the official magazine of the “Abdominal wall reconstruction surgeons community ” AWRSC.
Dr. Premkumar has also been conferred with award of Excellence in Hernia Surgery for the exceptional practice and selfless dedication in the Surgical Specialty on 18th June by “Venus International Foundation”.

Dr. Sudhir Parikh, USA, Chairman-Parikh Worldwide Media, has been praised by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel. Dr. VK Raju, Ophthalmologist, Regional Eye Associates and President and Founder, Eye Foundation of America has conducted “School Screening program in Delhi” with Dr. Srinivas Reddy, 25 children were given glasses, children with pathology were referred to regional ophthalmologist for treatment and follow up is being done.
