Dr. (Prof). D. K. Agarwal, Senior Consultant, Nephrology at New Delhi, has presented 3 Posters in Indian Society of Nephrology 2023 conference at Kolkata:
- Non-Lupus full house nephropathy in the Renal Allograft Recipient presenting with graft dysfunction;

Prof. Krishna Kulkarni, Consultant, Family Medicine at Bangalore has been honoured by Sri Kottala Basaveshwar Bharatiya Shiskshana Samsthe for his medical and social services for the past 52 years.
Dr. Keerti Singh, Lecturer, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Cave Hill campus, Barbados, University of the West Indies, has provided inputs on the Finance Committee Terms of Reference (TOR) document of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP) on 4th November 2023.
Dr Keerti has organized the Annual Independence Health Fair, St John Baptist Church at the “ Bajan do and Flea Market” SJB church Hall, where free health checks (B sugar and B Pressure) along with the Non-Communicable Diseases Health presentations (Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Childhood Obesity and exercise) were made by medical students of UWI Cave hill to the general community both adults and children attending the Bajan do and Flea market, Distributed exercise notebooks to all children donated by ANSA Pharmaceuticals, as CARE Lieutenant Governor Optimist International Caribbean District, zone 10 and the chair of the health and wellness committee of Optimist Club of Barbados North (OCBN) on 25th November 2023.
Dr Keerti has attended the National Independence Day Thanksgiving Service on invitation by the Permanent Secretary, Government of Barbados, through the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector, in Commemoration of the 57th Anniversary of Independence under the theme “Embracing our Heritage with Grace and Thanks” as the Optimist International Caribbean District, Zone 10 Lieutenant Governor, at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex Gymnasium. 10:00 am AST on 26th November 2023.

Dr Prasad Walimbe, Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist. (Jehangir hospital & Research Centre, Pune, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Centre, Pune and Walimbe Eye Clinic, Pune has Received the prestigious Dr Deshpande award for “Exemplary work in Amblyopia (Lazy eyes in children) ” during the annual conference of SPOSI (Strabismus & Pediatric Ophthalmological Society of India) held at Rishikesh on 9-10 December 2023.
Dr Prasad has authored the chapter titled “Approach to visual disability in children” in the forthcoming “Textbook of Growth, Development & Behavioral Pediatrics” by Jaypee brothers, New Delhi, to be published in January 2024.
Dr Prasad has successfully completed the tough mountain expedition to MOUNT ELBRUS (Highest peak in European Continent situated in Russia @ 5642 meters).
Dr. Shiv Parshad Mittal, Consultant, General Medicine at Panchkula, Haryana has been awarded with the fellowship of IMA Academy of Medical Specialties on 27th October 2023 during IMA AMSCON 2023, Kozhikode, Kerala.
Prof. Sanjay Gandhi, Research & Innovation Lead, Core Clinical Directorate, North Bristol NHS Trust Lead for Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, University of Bristol, Clinical and Professional Advisor, Care Quality Commission (CQC), NHS England and Chairman, British Institute of Radiology South West has been honoured by 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡, in recognition of his more than 25 years of his contributions to Medical Research, Cancer Clinical Trials & Healthcare Innovations.
Dr. Vemuri S Murthy, Adjunct Faculty, Department of Emergency Medicine, University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois, and Advisor, Odisha Government (Health and Family Welfare). The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has constituted an Annual Oration Award in the names of “Dr. & Mrs. Vemuri S Murthy Annual Oration Award” in 2023 which will be given to an Eminent medical personality.
This Annual Oration is instituted in recognition of the decades of contributions of Indo-US Resuscitation Expert, Dr. Vemuri S Murthy to the advancement of Education, Training, and Research in the field of “Resuscitation Medicine in India”.
This year the award is first time given to Eminent Telangana Cardiologist Dr. Srinivas Ramaka for his “Outstanding Contributions to Cardiac Health and Cardiac Arrest Research Projects in India” at the Indian Medical Association’s 98th All India Medical Conference held at Kovalam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on 27th -28th December 2023.
