A comprehensive 1 hour session on “Osteoporosis” was organized by Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with Association of Spine Surgeons of India (ASSI) at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 19th November, 2022 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Abhay Nene, senior consultant – spine surgery at Global Hospital, Parel, Mumbai has delivered a talk on “Osteoporosis and the spine” and Dr. Bharat R Dave, Director at Stavya Spine Hospital and Research Institute, Ahmedabad has delivered a talk “Osteoporosis – Prevention and Management“.
Dr. Ajoy Shetty, Consultant Orthopaedic & Spine Surgeon at Ganga Hospital, Chennai was the moderator of the session and Dr. (Prof.) Raju Vaishya, Sr. Consultant Orthopaedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon, Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi was the Chairperson during the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
