A comprehensive one and a half an hour session of dietetics was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) under International Dietetics Lecture Series at 4:15 PM IST on Wednesday, 11th December 2024 on a zoom platform.
Reputed well known speakers Dr Mohammed Rehan Sayeed, Cardiac Surgeon, Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore delivered his talk on “Breaking the Malnutrition Cycle: Sustainable Nutrition Interventions “, Dr Meenakshi Bajaj, Dietician, Tamil Nadu Govt Multi Super Specialty Hospital, delivered her talk on “Road to Recovery: MNT in Heart Transplant“, and Dr. Avantina S Bhandari, Culinary Nutritionist, DAAD Scholar (Germany), Ex- Adj Asst Professor, Department of Nutrition, CUNY, New York, USA, delivered her talk on “Transforming ICU Care: Role of Emotional Wellbeing and Sleep Initiatives“.
Dr. Anita Jatana, Senior Consultant, Dietetics, Apollo Hospitals, Delhi is the “Session Convener” and has started the session by her opening remarks.
Dr Sushil Jain, Honorary Advisor – GAPIO, Medical Superintendent, Apollo Hospitals Indore has chaired the session.
Ms. Sandhya Pandey, General Manager and Chief Dietitian, Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram and Ms Anjana Nair, Consultant Nutritionist, Bangalore has moderated the session.
The session was followed by 15 minutes question and answer round.
