A comprehensive 1 hour and 35 minutes physiotherapy virtual session on “Stroke: from Neurobiology to Neuro Rehabilitation” was organized by GAPIO under GAPIO International Lecture Series on a virtual platform at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 20th July 2024 on a digital platform through zoom.

Dr. P N Renjen, Senior Consultant Stroke Neurologist & Academic Coordinator – Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals , New Delhi, has delivered his talk on the topic “Latest Advances in Stroke Medical Management for Functional Recovery“.
Dr. Raquel Neves, Director Nursing – Almoosa Rehabilitation Hospital, Chair -Neuro-Rehabilitation Committee, Founder – Emirates Nursing Rehabilitation Society (UAE), has delivered her talk on the topic “Multidisciplinary Management for Functional Recovery“.
Mr. Teck Chye Tan, Physiotherapist & certified instructor – robotic devices – DIH, Singapore, has delivered his talk on the topic “Advances in Robotic Rehabilitation for Functional Recovery”.
Dr. Sapna Chakraborty, Associate Professor & Program Director – Doctoral Programs in Occupational Therapy, Missouri State University, USA, has delivered her talk on the topic “Occupational Therapy Perspective in Functional Recovery”.
Dr. Seema Grover, HOD, Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi has moderated the session.
