A comprehensive 1 hour session of Gastroenterology was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) under International Lecture Series at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 12th April 2025 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr Sunil K Mathai, Consultant Gastroenterology, Department of Gastroenterology, Medical Trust Hospital, Ernakulam spoke on the topic “Basics of Metabolic Endoscopy” and Dr Devendra Desai, Section Head and Consultant – Gastroenterology, PD Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai spoke on the topic “Ulcerative Colitis for Physicians – What I Should Know?“.
Dr Sunil Dadhich, Professor – Department of Gastroenterology, Dr S N Medical College, Jodhpur started the session with his opening remarks and moderated the session and Dr Amit Mathur, Treasurer – ISG, Consultant Gastroenterology, Mangalam Hospital, Jaipur, HOD,
Gastroenterology, NIMS, Jaipur has chaired the session.
Dr Mathew Philip, Secretary General – ISG, is the mentor of the session.
Dr Sushil Jain, Honorary Advisor – GAPIO, gave the vote of thanks.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
