“Dermatology Session (Demystifying Direct-to-Consumer Magical Skin Remedies)” at 07:00 PM IST

A comprehensive 1 hour session of dermatology was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) under 1st ever GAPIO Dermatology International Lecture Series in proud collaboration with the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) — the largest dermatology association in India, has organized a 1-hour live zoom session on “Demystifying Direct-to-Consumer Magical Skin Remedies” on Saturday, 17th May 2025 at 7:00 PM IST.

In this pioneering session reputed well known speakers brought together both GAPIO and IADVL to discuss the latest advancements, clinical insights, and innovations in dermatology. It promises to be an enriching experience, offering perspectives that are both global and deeply rooted in clinical excellence.

Dr Ramesh Mehta CBE, President, British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, Past President of GAPIO, International President, Commonwealth Association for Health & Disability (COMHAD), Visiting Professor of Child Health, University of Greater Manchester welcomed the delegates with his opening remarks.
Dr Vinay Singh, Senior Consultant – Dermatologist, Director: Vibrance Wellness Vista – Delhi, National President-Elect, IADVL 25, National Vice President IADVL 23-24, Scientific Secretary, SAARC Association of Dermatologists gave the inaugural address and introduced the speakers.
Reputed well known speaker, Dr Maneesh Paul, Chief Scientific Officer, Cymbiotics Biopharma Pvt Ltd delivered his talk on “Novel Cetosome Technology” and Mrs Shreya Gandhi, Founder of Monoskin, Researcher and Designer delivered her talk on “Protecting the Largest Organ in the Body, “Skin Awareness Campaign”.
Both the talks were followed by panel discussion by reputed panellists:
  1. Dr Bipin Batra, Senior Fellow, Commonwealth Academy for Medical Sciences; Fellow, FAIMER Institute.
  2. Prof. Rajesh Kumar, Professor, Grant Medical College (Mumbai), Senior Consultant Bombay Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Breach Candy Hospital and PD Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.
  3. Dr Sumit Gupta, Consultant – Dermatology, Derma and Aesthetic Surgeon, Lucknow.
  4. Dr Amit Madan, Chief Consultant Dermatologist, Madan’s Skin Laser Centre, Lucknow.
Dr Sushil Jain, Medical Superintendent, Apollo Hospitals, Indore and Honorary Advisor – GAPIO ended the session by his vote of thanks.
