Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (BAPIO) and Commonwealth Association for Health and Disability (COMHAD), is delighted to extend a warm invitation to you for its upcoming 13th Midyear conference scheduled to be held on 18th July 2025 (Friday) in Novotel Nairobi Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya, home to wildlife like lions, elephants and rhinos.
Africa faces several significant health challenges. Infectious Diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and cholera are prevalent. There are high rates of maternal and child mortality due to preventable causes like childbirth complications and malnutrition. Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassaemia pose significant health burdens. The rise of Non-Communicable Diseases such as cardiovascular diseases and diabetes is a growing concern. Many areas lack adequate healthcare facilities and trained healthcare professionals, making it difficult to provide the necessary care.
On 18th July we will have a full-day scientific program including topics such as advances in infectious diseases, sickle cell disease updates, advances in the management of NEDs, and sessions on Robotics and AI. Several International experts from USA, UK and India will join the local faculty. Friday evening there will be dinner for the faculty, invited guests and sponsors.
This conference is eligible for CPD points – by BAPIO, UK.
