Dr. Ashok Sharma, Consultant, Internal Medicine at New Delhi have been awarded for his short film “CHUNNI”, at Khajuraho international film festival 2025.

 

Dr. Bellamkonda Kishore, Academician, Innovator and Entrepreneur, has been awarded with “Indian Overseas Prize” on July 23, 2025. The prize which carries a medal and certificate, as part of Celebrating India-US Ties in the Iconic Building of the US Congress in Washington, DC. This prize was awarded to 30 people from all over the globe for their distinguished services and thus keeping the flag of India high overseas.

Dr. Dilip Kumar Acharya, National Chairman, IMA Cancer & Tobacco Control Committee Acharya received the IMA National President’s Honour for his dedicated services in the field of Cancer Prevention, Early detection & Tobacco Control from the hands of Dr. Dilip Bhanushali-National IMA President during the 100th Annual National Conference of Indian Medical Association held at Ahmedabad on 27th & 28th December 2025.

Dr. Acharya’s e-poster on “Early Detection of ORAL CANCER by Self Examination” was also presented during the conference.

Dr. Dillip Kumar Dash, Senior Consultant, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, has been selected for the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in healthcare. The award is to be given during World Leaders Summit to be held on 3rd February at India International Centre, New Delhi.

Dr. Keerti Singh, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Cave Hill campus, Barbados, University of the West Indies, as the Barbados representative and HIV lead of the Optimist International Caribbean District’s Childhood Health and Response Mission (CHaRM) committee, has assisted in organizing an intercaribbean webinar – on “HIV/AIDS and Mental Wellness amid Loss and Grief” with special focus on managing the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.

 

Dr. (Lt. Col.) Ravikumar Arunachalam, retired advisor to SRM Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute and retired, Pro Vice Chancellor, Medical and Health Sciences of SRM Institute of Science and Technology has one publication, “Evaluation of an eclectic voice therapy program and vocal function exercise (VFE) in hyperfunctional voice disorders: A randomised controlled trial”, Reference: JCD_106594in the Journal of communication disorders” published as co – author.

His other publication, “Prediction of Behavioral MCL using electrophysiological responses in children using MED-EL Implant” is awaiting acceptance in CoDAS Journal.

Dr. Mahesh Goenka, Director and Head of the Institute of Gastrosciences & Liver Transplantation, Kolkata was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the Indian Society of Gastroenterology on December 3 at the 66th annual meeting held in Amritsar on December 3-6, 2025.

Dr. Nalini M Guda, Clinical Adjunct Professor of Medicine, Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Program Director, Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship, GI Associates, Milwaukee, was one of the two recipients of “ISG Global Excellence Award”, by the Indian Society of Gastroenterology on December 3 at the 66th annual meeting held in Amritsar on December 3-6, 2025.

The Indian Society of Gastroenterology has instituted the ISG Global Excellence Award. This award is given to an international gastroenterologist(s) of repute, who has contributed to Global Gastroenterology in General and has also helped in the advancement of Gastroenterology in India.

Dr. Narayan Mishra, Professor Emeritus, Pulmonary Medicine, Odisha University of Health Sciences, International Advisor to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Chief Consultant Pulmonologist- THE CHEST CLINIC, Berhampur, Former Prof & HOD Pulmonary Medicine, MKCG Medical College, Odisha, has the following achievements:

  1. Conducted an Anti-Tobacco Awareness Workshopat Parala Maharaj Engineering College, Berhampur on 13th Nov 2025, which was attended by more than 200 teenagers of the Institute.

(This is a continued program since 1985, and till now, I have completed more than 650 such workshops in various institutions and organizations)

  1. Felicitated & Honoured by the Vice Chancellor of Odisha University of Health Sciences as an Exemplary Professor Emeritus for the year 2025 on 28th December at Bhubaneswar, for the outstanding contributions to Pulmonary Medicine and for imparting knowledge and wisdom to advance the discipline in various medical colleges across the state.
  • Conducted a state-level PG Quiz competition for Pulmonary Medicine PG students of 10 medical colleges of Odisha on 21.11.2025.
  • Conducted National-level PG Quiz competitionfor Pulmonary Medicine PG students of 21 states of India as a quiz master during the National Conference of Pulmonologists (NAPCON 2025) at Patna on 12th Dec 2025.

Dr O P Sharma, Sr. Consultant Geriatric Medicine at New Delhi has the following achievements:

  1. Received Dr. V. K. Arora & Dr. Raksha Arora Award for “Lifetime Excellence in Geriatrics” during GSICON 2025 on 13 December 2025 at Agra.

Dr. Sandip K. Trivedi, Consultant Pediatrician, Idar, Gujarat has been elected as Vice President, West Zone, CIAP 2026, (Indian Academy of Paediatric) and also got Fellowship in IAP awards in 2025.

Dr. Shrihari Anikhindi, Consultant Gastroenterologist, Institute of Liver, Gastroenterology and Pancreaticobiliary Sciences, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, has been recognized by Indian Society of Gastroenterology for being an appreciated reviewer for Indian Journal of Gastroenterology. Dr. Surajit Gorai, Professor and Consultant Dermatologist, Kolkata has been Invited for 31st Dermazone East 2025 and 36th annual conference of NE states of India (11 to 13/12/25) for the following roles:

  • A lecture on Acne Scar Lasers – latest updates and practical insights.
  • Judging the award paper session.
  • Conducting workshop and lecture on dermal fillers, with emphasis on safety, technique, and outcomes.

Dr. Yogesh Sarin, Paediatric Surgeon and Professor of Excellence, Centra Health Services, Dept. of Pediatric Surgery, Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital associated with Lady Hardinge Medical College has achieved the following:

  1. He was the faculty member in the 10th annual Conference on Translational Research and Innovation in Paediatric Surgery held on 5-6 December 2025 in AIIMS, New Delhi, and was conferred honorary Fellowship of Research and Innovation Pediatric Surgical Society (RIPSS)- a section of the Indian Association of Paediatric Surgeons (IAPS).
  2. He was an examiner for the MCh (Pediatric Surgery) exit examination at the University of Delhi on 15-16th December.
  3. He was also a faculty member and facilitated, as a guest of honour, the 8th UP-UK Pediatric Surgery Conference held in Jhansi on 20- 21 December.
