Dr Arun Garg, Program Medical Director for the South Asian Health Institute, has been honored by the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation with a “Lifetime Philanthropy Award” in recognition of his philanthropic contributions to healthcare. A 50-year legacy South Asian Fund has also been established to support community-based initiatives that empower South Asians to achieve better health through a focus on ethnicity, diversity, and culture.
Dr Arun Prasad, Surgical Gastroenterology, Clinical Lead, GI & Bariatric, at New Delhi, has been conferred honorary membership by the Turkish Bariatric Surgery Society. This prestigious recognition is a significant honor and reflects his contributions to the field over the past seven years.
Dr. Ashish Aneja, Senior Medical Officer, Kurukshetra University, has been selected for the very prestigious Fellowship of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). He is the only doctor from Haryana to receive this honor, awarded in recognition of his social work, lectures, and diabetes awareness initiatives over the past 15 years. He has organized more than 600 free cardio-diabetic health check-up and awareness camps in association with GAPIO and many national and international organizations.

Dr Ashok Sharma, Consultant, Internal Medicine at New Delhi has delivered a keynote presentation at the 3rd edition of the International Conference on Diabetes and Endocrinology, held on 23rd and 25th October 2025 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Dr BalMukund Bhala, Consultant Anaesthetist, Ex NHS, British Army Veteran & ExChair Hindu Council UK, received the prestigious King’s Award for his years of voluntary service at both local and national levels. The award was presented during the Princess Royal’s visit to Wellingborough and was conferred by the Lord Lieutenant of Northamptonshire in the presence of various dignitaries in Wellingborough, UK.
For Retired Major Balmukund Bhala, this civilian award is an excellent addition to his four previous medals from NATO, the British Army, and the Queen, including the Veteran’s Medal for his exemplary services in the British Tri-services.
Dr. S Gowri Meena, Senior Consultant, OBG, Chennai was awarded the prestigious FRCOG by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, UK, during the admission ceremony held on 19th September in Chennai.
Dr. Kandamaran Krishnamurthy, Consultant Pediatric- Intensive Care Unit from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados has co-authored an open-access article titled “Protocol for a multi-country retrospective observational paediatric sepsis epidemiological study (SENTINEL International)”. The article was published in BMJ on 15th October 2025.

Dr. (Prof.) P. N. Renjen, Senior Consultant Neurologist (Stroke), New Delhi, has co-published a paper titled “Influenza Triggered Myositis in an Elderly Patient: An Atypical Presentation of Influenza Infection” in the Journal of Neuroimmunology, Volume 409. Padma Shri Dr. Sudhir M. Parikh — Chairman of the Center for Asthma & Allergy Associates of Murray Hill; Chairman & Publisher of Parikh Worldwide Media, ITV Gold (24/7 TV Channel), and Life Global; Patron Trustee and Senior Advisor of the AAPI Charitable Foundation; and Awardee of the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman — has been inducted into the Rutgers Living History Society Archives, one of the largest and oldest universities in New Jersey.
Dr. Suneel K. Parvathareddy, Chief Medical Officer at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes Medical Center (AHWFB Wilkes Medical Center), was presented with the E. Harvey Estes Physician Community Service Award on 10th October 2025 by the North Carolina Medical Society. The award recognizes his extraordinary service to the community and his fellow citizens, reflecting the high honor and esteem in which he is held by his peers in the medical community.
Dr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Professor of ENT, Mallareddy Institute of Medical Sciences conducted focused ENT camps on three different days — 14th October, 28th October, and 11th November 2025 — at the orphanage center for children with cerebral palsy at the DAIVALAYAM Centre, Yellampet Village, Medchal Mandal, Telangana. He performed ear check-ups for 40 children and carried out hearing and speech assessments with audiology support from the NGO Meenakshi Seshadri Foundation.
Dr. Vishnu has also conducted a research study titled “A Study of ENT Symptoms in Leprosy Patients” during August–October 2025 at the Shivananda Leprosy and Rehabilitation Center, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, Telangana.
