A comprehensive one-hour session of dietetics was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) under International Dietetics Lecture Series at 4:00 PM IST on Thursday, 9th October 2025 on zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Amit Singh Barpha, Hepatologist and Liver Transplant Physician, Apollo Hospitals – Indore delivered his talk on “Liver Transplant Physician Perspective” and Dr. Jaya Benjamin, Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Nutrition, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi delivered his talk on “Nutritional Optimization Prior to Liver Transplantation“.
Dr. Anita Jatana, Senior Consultant, Dietetics, Apollo Hospitals, Delhi is the “Session Convener” and has started the session by her opening remarks.
Dr. V Arun Kumar, Senior Consultant, Department of Liver Transplant and HPB Surgery, Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi has chaired the session.
Dr. Priya Chitale, Chief Dietitian, HOD Dietetics and Nutrition, Apollo Hospitals, Indore has moderated the session.
The session was followed by 15 minutes question and answer round.
