A comprehensive 45 minutes virtual session on “Paediatric Gastroenterology” was organized by GAPIO in collaboration with Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) under GAPIO-IAP International Lecture Series on a virtual platform. at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 27th September 2025 on zoom.
International speaker from USA, Dr Asim Maqbool, Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition) and Attending Physician, Division of GI, Hepatology and Nutrition, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia delivered his talk on “ Recent Advances in Acute Pancreatitis“.
Dr Saista Amin, Consultant Pediatrician and Specialist Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist American Hospital Dubai and Al Barsha satellite clinics, UAE has chaired the session
Dr Aashay Shah, Consultant, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Ahmedabad was the “Session Convenor”.
The session was followed by a Q&A round of 10 minutes.
