A comprehensive 1 hour virtual session on “Paediatric Hepatology” was organized by GAPIO in collaboration with Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) under GAPIO-IAP International Lecture Series on a virtual platform. at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 30th November 2024 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr Rohit Kohli, Chief, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Associate Director, The Saban Research Institute (Training and Education), Associates’ Chair in Liver and Intestinal Research, Clinical Scholar and Professor of Pediatrics, Keck School of Medicine of USC has delivered his talk on “PFIC – Newer Drugs” and Dr Mohit Kehar, Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, Lead MASLD/NAFLD clinic, Education Lead Pediatric Special Interest Group, AASLD, Co-Chair Canadian MASLD guidelines, Associate Professor, University of Ottawa, Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, has delivered his talk “MASLD – Where are we?“.
Dr Sailen Bana, Associate Consultant, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram has moderated the session.
Dr M S Viswanathan, Senior Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist, Therapeutic Endoscopist, Paediatric Liver Transplant Physician, Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai has chaired the session.
Dr Aashay Shah, Consultant, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Ahmedabad was the “Session Convenor”.
The session was followed by a question and answer round of 10 minutes.
