“Gastroenterology Session (Alcohol Related Liver Disease and Acute Liver Failure)” at 07:00 PM IST

A comprehensive 1 hour session of Gastroenterology was organized by Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) in collaboration with Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) under International Lecture Series at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 3rd August 2024 on a digital platform through zoom.
Dr Santhosh Kumar E, Associate Professor, Department of Hepatology, Christian Medical College – Vellore spoke on the topic “Alcohol Related Liver Disease” and Dr Vijay Alexander, Assistant Professor, Department of Hepatology Christian Medical College – Vellore spoke on the topic “Acute Liver Failure“.
Dr Mathew Philip, Secretary General – ISG, has chaired the session and Dr K R Palaniswamy, Senior Consultant – Department of Gastroenterology, Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, has moderated the session by his opening remarks.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
