Dr. Arun Prasad, Surgical Gastroenterology, Clinical Lead, GI & Bariatric surgeon, at New Delhi, is the part of The BROAD study on a prospective, global, multicentre study evaluating the 30-day morbidly and mortality of RBS for IWR/WL and metabolic relapse., published in “Obesity Research & Clinical Practice” as a(n) Original Contribution.
Dr. Bellamkonda Kishore, Academician, Innovator and Entrepreneur, functioned as an Expert Evaluator for the Black Ambition Prize Competition. It is a nationwide competition in the United States.

Dr Bidita Khandelwal was invited as a member of the Delphi panel (consisting of 18 experts from India) which would work on the ICMR funded project “ Development, validation and evaluation of a Deprescribing tool for Indian elderly” As a part of this project, it is proposed to develop and validate a deprescribing tool for the Indian elderly population which will help to critically review medications prescribed to the elderly and assist to discontinue the ones that are not appropriate.
Dr. Kandamaran Krishnamurthy, Consultant Pediatric- Intensive Care Unit from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados, has facilitated Acute Non-Invasive ventilation workshop as one of the faculty in 12th congress of World Federation of Pediatric Intensive and Critical Care Society (WFPICCS) on 1st June 2024 at Cancun, Mexico.
Dr. Kandamaran has been appointed as the “President of Caribbean Region (West Indies) Chapter of NRI Welfare Society for the period of 3 years.
Dr. Kandamaran has Organized Caribbean Allergy and Asthma webinar on June 16th 2024.

Dr. Keerti Singh has done the following community outreach:
May 30th 2024: As Lieutenant governor of Optimist Intl Caribbean District, zone 10 and Barbados Representative of Childhood Health and response mission (CHaRM) committee, moderated the inter Caribbean webinar on childhood cancer – “Saving our Future: The Impact of Blood Donations on Childhood Cancer” as part of quarter 3 activities of the Optimist International CHaRM committee.Introduced the invited speakers and gave the vote of thanks Speakers included – Keishawna Pinnock, Blood Donation Organizer, National Blood Donation Service; Dr Michelle Reece-Mills, Consultant Pediatrician, UHWI, Mona Campus Jamaica, 7-8:30 pm Jamaica time.
Dr. N Ramakrishnan, Senior Consultant, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, Chennai has primary authored two original research articles:
- “Inter-Rater Reliability of Clinical Frailty Scale in Onco-Critical Care” in “Onco Critical Care June 2024”. The Co-authors of the article are Dr. Suresh Kumar Sundaramurthy, Dr. Raymond Savio and Dr. Thriloga Sundary.

Dr. N Ramakrishnan, has published a book chapter titled “Living-donor Lung Transplant update” in “Critical Care Update 2024”. The Co-author of the chapter is Dr. Ajay Padmanaban.
Dr. Premkumar Balachandran, Senior Consultant Gynaecology Oncology & Robotic Surgery at Delhi have been elected as Member Representative of the International Representative Committee (IRC) of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG), UK in the AICC RCOG North Zone Committee elections following the ballot in June 2024. This term is for a period of three years.

Dr Subhakar Kandi, Prof & HOD Pulmonary Medicine, Kamineni Academy of Medical Sciences and Research Center has received FRCP from Royal college of Physicians Edinburgh on 14th June 2024.
Dr. Vemuri S Murthy, Adjunct Faculty, Department of Emergency Medicine, University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois, and Advisor, Odisha Government (Health and Family Welfare founded the first Indo-US Community Health & CPR Center on June 15, 2024 at the National India Hub, Schaumburg, Illinois, USA.
The Training Center was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Consul General of the Chicago Indian Consulate, Mr. Somnath Ghosh, and Former Secretary of the Ministry of External Affairs, India, Ambassador Dr. Ausaf Sayeed.
